Description:

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2023.

Applicants will be considered as an Assistant or Associate Professor. Rank is dependent upon the applicant’s teaching experience and publication record. Preference will be given to candidates with areas of teaching and research interest in Sports Management, and Organizational Behavior or Management. The teaching load is 18 semester hours per year. The opportunity to teach during the summer and winter is available, as is summer research support.

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business offers the BBA, MBA, EMBA, Online MBA, and a variety of specialized MS programs. In January, 2019 the Zarb School opened its new state-of-the-art building, a 52,000-square-foot facility equipped with a new Behavioral Research in Business Lab, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, makerspace/startup incubator, multiple areas for student independent and collaborative study, as well as administrative, faculty and student club offices. The new facility is designed to enhance students’ hands-on learning by increasing their ability to do real-world business and research projects.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have an appropriate doctoral degree from an accredited program (or be in the final stages of completing such a degree). Candidates should have a record of pedagogical and scholarly excellence and a commitment to teaching, research, and service. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in an educational environment.
