Job Description:

The Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University invites applications for a senior faculty position at the full professor level. We invite prominent leaders with a research focus in any of the broad areas of Quantum Communication, Quantum Computation or Quantum Information Science, including (but not limited to) realization of quantum circuits, applications of quantum computing and algorithms, quantum error correction, and novel quantum sensors, devices and supporting technology. We are particularly interested in candidates with an experimental focus.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University invites applications for a senior faculty position at the full professor level to begin fall 2023. Applications received by January 9, 2023 will receive full consideration. Position will remain open until filled.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a doctorate in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a closely related field, and must have developed an outstanding research program, including a strong record of securing external funding and establishing leadership. In addition, candidates must have a strong record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and citations, and be an effective instructor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
