Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delaware (Newark, DE).

Full-time, continuing track.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware is searching for a colleague to join our faculty as a continuing-track Assistant Professor with a focus on teaching introductory and elementary mathematics. All faculty are expected to maintain an integrated program of teaching and service to the Department and the University.

Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field, and a record of high-quality teaching and service at the university level. Applicants with expertise in active learning methods for undergraduate mathematics courses and with experience in coordinating large, multi-section courses are preferred.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a research statement, a teaching statement, and three names and contact information of three professional references.
