Description:

The Tulane School of Medicine’s Center for Aging seeks a qualified individual for its part-time Adjunct Associate Professor and welcomes applicants at this time. The specific courses involved will be vary from  semester to semester; openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. Center for Aging Courses will be taught on both the uptown and downtown campuses of Tulane.

The anticipated need is for an Adjunct Associate Professor to teach PhD courses for the Interdisciplinary PhD in Aging Studies program. The specific course is:

AGST 6300/7300: Brain and Behavior: Structure, Physiology, and Cognition in Adults and Aging Brains


Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience directly related to course offering
  • University level and PhD teaching experience is preferred
  • Doctorate in aging related studies is required
