Description:

This position oversees all academic records for undergraduate and graduate students and provides administrative support to the Graduate Director in managing graduate assistantships and tracking graduate student progress. Assists students during the drop/add period and adding a major or minor,  works with the Associate Directors of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies to assist them in administrative tasks for their areas, compiles reports as requested for accreditation and assessment documents, processes graduate student hiring paperwork, personnel changes, oversees the compilation and distribution of graduate student comprehensive exams, coordinates the School of Music audition cycle including potential contact with students and parents, creates audition result letters and scholarship letters in consultation with the director, manages key and door security clearances, assists in development event planning, attends recruiting events at college fairs as needed, and compiles strategic student data reports, provides front-desk assistance in the absence of the receptionist, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

    High school diploma and three years of office experience or Bachelor's degree with one year of office experience.Knowledge of administrative and basic office procedures Proficient Microsoft Office skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to interpret and apply policies and proceduresGood communication skills, written and verbalAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to multi-task
Preferred Requirements:

    Knowledge and ability to use Banner, UT Graduate Admit and Slate systems, social media, UT policies and procedures, and SAP/IRISKnowledge of event planning proceduresPlease complete the online application and include a cover letter, resume and three professional references.
