The University of Tennessee System enthusiastically invites applications for a Senior Learning Consultant & Business Partner with Employee and Organizational Development (EOD.) EOD is a highly collaborative team of professionals that embraces life-long learning and provides all UT employees with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Each year, EOD delivers a wide variety of facilitated workshops, seminars, learning events, and conferences for the benefit of UT faculty and staff across the state. The Senior Learning Consultant & Business Partner will play an integral role in bringing these impactful events to life.

The Senior Learning Consultant & Business Partner provides high-level support to campus or institute leaders and HR professionals in addressing unique learning and development needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and other EOD staff to ensure the development of effective working and service relationships within the unit and with campus and institute leaders, HR professionals, learning professionals, and other stakeholders. This important work includes:

    researching, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs planning, coordinating, and managing key learning events and programs such as annual conferences and seminarsconsulting with departments to develop and deliver customized learning and development solutionspartnering with EOD staff, System, and campus leaders to optimize learning solutions that satisfy state-wide professional development needs among employeesperforming other essential learning-related and HRD functions as needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, adult learning, psychology, sociology, or a related field is required, along with a passion for fostering and facilitating opportunities for professional growth and development in adult learners.

The Senior Learning Consultant & Business Partner must be a creative, organized, resourceful, enthusiastic, and highly collaborative professional. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

    The ability to plan, develop, and facilitate adult learning eventsSkill in event and conference planningFamiliarity with adult learning principles and how to apply them effectively in learning and performance interventionsLearning needs assessment and evaluation skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills including effective writing and course developmentKnowledgeable in MS Word, PowerPoint, and webinar delivery facilitation tools
