Head Womens and Mens Volleyball Coach/Operations Coordinator

Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College, a private, coeducational college located 30 minutes north of midtown Manhattan, is seeking applicants for a Head Women's and Men's Volleyball Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment reporting to the Director of Athletics. Sarah Lawrence is currently a member of the Skyline Conference and NCAA DIII.

Essential Duties Summary
Specific areas of responsibility will include student-athlete recruitment, training, conditioning, and skill development as well as practice and game preparation. The successful candidate will also be assigned administrative responsibility within the athletic department. Ensuring adherence to the policies of Sarah Lawrence College, the Skyline Conference, and the NCAA will be an ongoing essential.

Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred. A high level of self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills are imperative. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with coaching and administrative experience at the collegiate level as well as experience recruiting to a private liberal arts college.
