Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree in respiratory care or a related healthcare field from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). Must hold a valid RRT credential and current Ohio License; possess minimum of (4) years full‐time experience in respiratory therapy with two (2) years in clinical respiratory care; two (2) years experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree preferred

Summary of Duties:
The Director/Instructor of the Respiratory Therapy Program will be responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, continued development, and effectiveness of the educational program. To assure quality outcomes, the Program Director will cooperate fully with COTC administration, the Medical Director for the program and the Advisory Committee for the program. This position reports directly to the Dean of Technical Studies.
