Provide professional, technical and administrative leadership for Enrollment Management (EM) services in support of the EM team and the broader Academic Affairs team. Lead the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of key data information system solutions. Collaborate and liaise with other systems managers in EM Services. Build relationships and provide stewardship to University constituents and 3rd parties to identify, develop, enhance and implement short and long-term data analytics projects. 1. Identify, recommend and implement technology solutions such as dashboards, reports and data integration of admissions funnel status data for Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions within systems utilized by Enrollment Management (EM) Services; these systems include, but are not limited to: Ellucian Banner, Salesforce/Enrollment Rx, and Argos
*Develops and provides reliable, accurate, secure and accessible funnel status data in the form of operational and analytical reports, dashboards and visualizations that meet the needs of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid and Graduate Admissions
*Designs, tests, generates and monitors reports, dashboards and visualizations that support decision making and planning
*Consults with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements and translate requirements into dashboards and reports; facilitates a continuous improvement process to align reports, dashboards and visualization to the end-user's changing needs and requirements
*Troubleshoot and resolve client problems and/or errors that may occur in existing reports; train and develop documentation to assist the end-user in accessing and understanding data as presented

2. Provide overall leadership and administration for the data analytics solution, Othot, utilized by Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid as well as the Office of Retention
*Configure, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the data feeds to the Othot data models; adjust data feeds, as required, for Othot modeling and prediction techniques
*Responsible for the accuracy of the data feeds to the Othot models; serve as point of contact for the vendor and the EM team for data requests or issues related to Othot models
*Responsible for the accurate integration of data used by the Othot models between the various systems supported by the Enrollment Services Center; technologies include, but not limited to: Othot, Salesforce/Enrollment Rx, Banner and related Ellucian products
*Lead implementation of new Othot data models; make decisions and recommendations about management and maintenance of the Othot data models in conjunction with key stakeholders
*Work closely with campus constituents and third party vendors for the successful use of Othot Data Analytics solutions; serve as Lehigh’s Othot application owner and sole administrator. Monitor and provide overall direction to Othot changes and improvements over time
*Ensure compliance with University security requirements, privacy regulations and other standards, policies and procedures, including FERPA regulation
*Maintain the integrity and security of the Othot system, adhere to all policies and maintain data standard

3. Responsible for the accuracy of funnel status data for both Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid and Graduate Admissions in the systems utilized by the Enrollment Services Center
*Ensure the integrity of the admissions funnel status data in the various EM and University systems for both Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid and Graduate Admissions
*Facilitate and collaborate with Enterprise Systems and other areas of EM and the University to ensure accurate and timely data synchronization and integration between EM systems to/from Banner and other University systems
*Create error reports to ensure policies and procedures are being followed as well as the accuracy of the data
*Collaborate with all the members of the EM Services, Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid and to manage and monitor data entry into Enrollment Services systems

4. Provide data leadership with respect to admissions funnel status data as well as the data for the Othot data models to campus stakeholders
*Identify and address needs of the campus stakeholders through observation of processes and of consulting with colleagues; these stakeholders include, but are not limited to: Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid, Graduate Admissions, Director of Retention and Director of Coordinated Advising
*Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge and familiarity of the processes and procedures relative to a college admission office (both undergraduate and graduate) as well as a general knowledge of the University and its structure
*Train and provide documentation to stakeholders on the meaning and analysis of the admissions funnel status data as well as the data for the Othot data models, create additional and maintain documentation regularly

5. Provide additional support as needed for the other systems managers in the various offices within EM
*Work with internal and/or external technical staff to communicate needs to facilitate projects
*Work closely with counterparts in the other EM offices, specifically Graduate Enrollment Management, Office of Financial Aid and Registration and Academic Services and the Bursar’s Office
*Support the staff of the Enrollment Services Center to ensure data is entered consistently and accurately and it will meet the needs of the areas supported
*Collaborate with other staff of the EM office group with report writing skills
*Participate in monthly meetings with stakeholders from LTS and EM systems managers to keep open the lines of communication and collaboration

6. Collaborate and work closely with University constituents and 3rd parties to accomplish daily work as well as short term and long term projects
*Participate as needed in LTS meetings
*Represent EM Services to internal and external constituents that impact technology related functions
*Participate at technology related conferences and other types of training and professional development; conferences may include: Ellucian Live, PA Banner User Group, EnrollmentRx Conference, Othot Conferences, etc.
*Monitor emerging technology trends as it pertains to data analytical technology solutions to improve services and data provided to constituents
*Investigate and evaluate possible solutions by working with colleagues on campus as well as technical vendors and colleagues at peer institutions
*Assist in the development and offering of EM Week training for academic affairs units

This position may be eligible for a fully remote work arrangement pending University approval (will be required to come to campus 2-4 times per year); remote work opportunities for non contract positions are only offered within the United States

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field; Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Educational Technology

Five to eight years related work experience

Experience with Ellucian Banner, Oracle SQL on a relational database, Othot, Argos or Salesforce/Enrollment RX preferred

Exceptional data skills

Previous higher education experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adept use of digital communication preferred

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a high degree of initiative for bringing tasks to completion

Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

Excellent computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and sound judgment

Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
