Job Summary::

KVCC is seeking an accounting tutor who can also help tutor economics. This position provides tutoring to KVCC students in one-on-one and small group settings. The work schedule includes daytime and evening hours.

Minimum Qualifications::

Applicants interested in tutoring must possess a 3.0 grade point average or better in the discipline and have excellent communication skills.

Candidates must have successfully completed Accounting I (ACC 101) and II (ACC 102).

Candidates should submit copies of unofficial transcript records or have written recommendation from his/her instructor or department chairperson

Preferred Qualifications and Experience::

Successful completion of accounting classes beyond Accounting I and II, or an associates degree in accounting is preferred.

Successful completion of Economics courses is preferred.

Work Hours::

10 to 20 hours per week; flexible schedule, hours vary between days and evenings.
