The Department of Psychology at Georgetown University invites applications for a full time, non-tenure position for a three-year period to begin in August 2023, with the possibility of renewal depending upon performance and departmental need. Teaching responsibilities will be 3 courses per semester (6 courses per year) and will include teaching a course on Psychological Disorders as well as other introductory and specialty courses in Clinical Psychology. In addition, the individual will be involved in advising and mentoring of undergraduate students. Evidence of excellence in teaching such as honors and awards and student course evaluations is required. Clinical experience (e.g., providing psychological therapy or counseling) is required. Research involvement is welcomed but not required.

The Georgetown University Department of Psychology offers an undergraduate major in psychology, and also hosts an undergraduate Honors Program. At the graduate level, the Department hosts a program leading to the Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration either in Lifespan Cognitive Neuroscience or in Human Development and Public Policy.
