The Associate Director of Student Recruitment and Diversity is responsible for managing student recruitment initiatives for the Association, including the national Pharmacy is Right for Me (Pharm4Me) campaign and recruitment events under the direction of the Senior Director for Student Affairs. The Associate Director promotes pharmacy education and careers to various audiences and leverages technology to expand the number of diverse and capable students in the K-12 and college pipeline. Diversity responsibilities include collaboration with others to devise, develop, and implement strategies and programs to increase the diversity of the pharmacy student population with a focus on individuals from historically underrepresented groups. The position will also contribute to, coordinate, and track the Association’s portfolio of diversity activities across staff teams and member groups. The position works with the student affairs coordinator to manage sponsored scholarship programs, including the CVS Health Minority Scholarship for Pharmacy Students and Walmart Health Equity Scholarship. The Associate Director will regularly communicate with staff, association members, external association partners, and the general public.
