NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for 2 tenured/tenure-track positions (open rank) in Global Public Health. We particularly seek applications from candidates who completed a doctorate in public health, epidemiology, or relevant fields who focus on the conduct of interventions, community-based participatory research, implementation science, and m-health, to improve population health. The particular area of emphasis is open, but ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong social justice orientation, and advocate for health equity by complementing existing research strengths in migration and health, global mental health, urban health, trauma and adversity, and sexual and reproductive health. Candidates who utilize digital health technologies and scalable approaches to improve population health and wellbeing are particularly desirable. Candidates will join a vibrant public health research community housed in the NYU Shanghai Center for Global Health Equity

Shanghai is a dynamic urban environment, and as such, candidates with an active research program in China and/or Shanghai or the Western Pacific region, are also desirable. Candidates with teaching and mentoring experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of research and teaching interests, and electronic copies of up to three relevant publications or writing samples. Additionally, junior applicants should enter the names and email addresses of at least three referees. Each referee will be contacted to upload a reference letter through Interfolio.

Priority will be given to applications received before November 1. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
