Summary

The Working General Maintenance Lead completes maintenance work order requests with a focus on special and annual maintenance projects. This position operates all types of machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and major power equipment. This position serves as a knowledgeable resource to the General Maintenance Worker IIs, Plumbers, Electricians, Vehicle Mechanics, Welders, Welder Helpers, Painters, and Locksmiths.

Required Qualifications

•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•4 years of maintenance experience (in trades such as painting, carpentry, welding, plumbing, and minor electrical)

Preferred Qualifications

•Ability to run cost estimates on work and job orders as well as construction and renovation projects.
•Ability to understand and utilize the TMA work order process.
•Knowledge of the SciQuest E-Procurement system.
