Position Summary:

Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach Chemistry courses in the Division of Science, Mathematics and Technology. At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not tenure-track, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and are not included in membership of faculty Senate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Chemistry
Experience teaching college level Chemistry.
Professional experience in the Chemistry or Biochemistry fields.
Professional experience in Chemistry such as Research or Consulting.
