General Summary: Provide administrative oversight and on site program coordination for the CCAC/JATC Electrical Construction Technology Partnership Program in Allegheny County and Clearfield County.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred with a minimum of three years related experience in school or college setting; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties:

1. Be the on-site 1-in-charge for CCAC programs and ECT courses at Pittsburgh and Clearfield Pennsylvania sites. Coordinate all activities at sites relating to the administration and evaluation of courses, programs and faculty under the supervision of the academic deans and JATC Training Director.

2. Provide assistance to 300+ students and faculty as needed including evenings and weekends to resolve problems and/or refer as appropriate.

3. Assist in the support of site faculty by interacting with the deans, JATC Training Director, other campus personnel, and the site staff. Serve as liaison among site CCAC faculty, ECT faculty, deans, department heads and other CCAC staff.

4. Provide and administer academic services including college applications, orientation, and placement testing and graduation applications.

5. Maintain student files and update records as appropriate.

6. Coordinate auxiliary services with Allegheny Campus HQ student accounts, student services, bookstore, business office, tutoring, etc. which will include transporting mail and materials between campus and sites.

7. Inventory textbooks each semester and order as needed.

8. Schedule building and coordination of CCAC academic courses and ECT courses. Assign classes to students as appropriate. Complete student registration forms and distribute to students and CCAC Allegheny Campus Registration. Make classroom assignments in coordination with JATC Training Director.

9. Review, reconcile and approve third party billing and submit to JATC Training Director for payment.

10. Provide admissions and financial aid information at sites regarding CCAC programs.

11. Administer student surveys.

12. Promote courses offered at sites, develop and market more program offerings at these sites as appropriate.

13. Attend JATC functions, as required, as a CCAC representative.

14. Serve as liaison between CCAC and JATC by maintaining an open line of communication between both concerns.

15. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check. The College has provided instructions on how to obtain these clearances and are available here.

Vaccination: Effective November 1, 2021, as a condition of employment, all new employees of Community College of Allegheny County must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of their vaccination or have received an approved exemption to be an employee. Prospective employees who are offered a position can request an exemption from this vaccine requirement for religious or documented medical reasons. Exemption requests will be reviewed for approval on a case-by-case basis by the Office of Human Resources.
