Service to the college through committee work and other activities is expected of all tenure-track faculty. External service to the public and to the scientific community are supported.

The Department of Chemistry: The successful applicant will become part of an ACS certified program of five chemists and an associated biochemistry program. The faculty has a deep commitment to quality liberal arts education; student development in a residential setting; student research; ethical and safe practices; and interdisciplinary, intercultural, and international education. Salary, benefits, and support for professional development are competitive.
