Job Summary

Columbus State University has an opening for an Enrollment Service Representative. This is a professional position that is responsible for performing a wide variety of Enrollment functions for the University. The primary function is to provide customer service to current and prospective students and their families via the phone and in-person. Additional duties include responding to emails and collecting documents.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: participate in regular comprehensive trainings, independently and in groups, for policies and procedures related to Admissions, Financial Aid, Recruitment, Registrar, Housing, and Bursar's Office; receiving and reviewing Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Bursar documents; communicating with applicants, students, and families through written correspondence, email, phone, and face-to-face meetings in the office of the Enrollment Service Center; assisting students and parents with the enrollment process in Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Bursar; and perform all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and two to four years of customer service related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the required duties. The successful candidate must possess knowledge of Enrollment Management operations; initiative, sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality in performing duties; excellent oral and written communication skills; flexibility; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, and others.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, demonstrated knowledge of Admissions, Financial Aid, Recruitment, Registrar, and Bursar policy and procedures, and knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Imaging, Microsoft Word, online calendar, and multi-line phones.

Proposed Salary

The salary range for this position is $32,868 - $35,852 annualized and includes full benefits.
