Position Summary:Prairie State College seeks experienced adjunct faculty to teach the following classes.
The following anticipated courses will be open for Spring 2023:
—ITCYB143 Scripting and Security – 6 – 9:40 PM Monday (on campus class sessions)
—ITCYB203 Advanced Network Defense – 4 – 5:15 PM Thursday (virtual synchronous class sessions)
—ITCYB273 Cybersecurity Operations – 6 – 10 PM Tuesday (on campus class sessions)
To teach ITCYB 203, the faculty member must be credentialed to teach in the online format.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related computer field, with a minimum of an additional 18 hours of coursework completed at the graduate level in the Information Technology discipline.
Current industry recognized certifications, with an emphasis on networking and security credentials.
Current and relevant work experience in the computer field.
Secondary or post-secondary teaching experience or corporate training experience.
Salary is based per Adjunct Faculty Union contract.

Prairie State College is a richly diverse community college located 30 minutes south of Chicago.
