$16.44 ($34,200/year) - $20.53 ($42,700 /year) per hour/ $1,000 Sign-on Bonus after completion of satisfactory 90-day review

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

 

The posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range.  The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose

The Accounting/HR Assistant will process accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable, assist with procurement, update HR data, assist with new employee onboarding processes and other general support of the Finance and Human Resource departments.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process accounts payable with proper invoice coding, packing lists and approvals for multiple departments across campuses.
  • Match purchase orders with outstanding invoices.
  • Audit expense invoices.
  • Respond to vendor inquires and RVU faculty/staff in a timely manner to resolve issues.
  • 1099 maintenance and review.
  • Maintain vendor files and contract database.
  • Input and maintain data entry for department.
  • Collect cash, check and credit card payments from students and other third party agencies.  Accurately record payments received according to University policy and procedure.
  • Support procurment process by review requisitin orders, preparing purchased orders, and responding to customer inquires, checking shipments when they arrive, and routing purchased to appropriate department.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding process.
  • Convert and organize employee hard-copy fiels to electronic.
  • Review HR data for accuracy, research and provide additional data as necissary to provide complete and accurate reports.
  • Assist in gather data for and preparing HR reports, i.e., CUPA, Faculty Audit, COCA, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Course work in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Previous experience at an accredited university, health profession college, or medical school.
  •
