The Department of English at Christopher Newport University invites applications for the position of Part-Time Lecturer in English, effective August, 2023. This position is a part-time, non-benefited, non-tenure-track appointment with a 3-3 teaching load. The successful candidate must have experience in teaching Business and Professional Writing.Departmental Information:
The doctorate in English or a closely related field is required for appointment at the rank of Lecturer. Individuals who are ABD and will not hold the doctorate by the time of appointment, have extensive work related experience, and/or possess a master’s degree in a related field may be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor. Phi Beta Kappa membership is highly desirable.
