Responsibilities:Accounts Payable is looking for an organized, customer service focused business professional with a positive attitude to join our team. This is a temporary, part-time (extra help) position with work hours between either 8 AM – 1 PM or 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM up to 25 hours per week.
Under limited supervision by the Accounts Payable manager, this employee will be responsible for the following tasks subject to modification for proper segregation of duties:
· Complete vendor id lookup for check and travel request· Complete new vendor setup and maintain vendors as needed for address and payment method updates· Code and enter approved invoices and travel vouchers for payment· Review vendor past due statements and follow-up with vendors as needed to obtain invoices· Follow-up with departments regarding outstanding invoices· Assist in gathering support for year-end audit· Other duties as assigned
M-F, maximum 25 hours per week
Starting Salary:$13.00 per hour
Required Skills:High school graduation or equivalent
Two years of professional business experience
The ideal candidate for this position must have excellent interpersonal skills in working with others within the department and the general public.

Northern Illinois University is a comprehensive research university offering programs from the baccalaureate through the doctorate.
