• 5+ years experience managing Windows server environments
• Experience with networked Video Surveillance Systems, associated hardware, and familiarity with related software technologies
• Skilled in Windows server, Powershell and Active Directory
• 5+ years experience with networking
• Skilled at troubleshooting switching, routing, VLAN, and firewall related issues.
• Ability to use and understand packet capturing tools for troubleshooting
• Experience with MSSQL environments

This position primarily manages UGA campus standard Video Security Systems, applications, and servers to support UGA Police Department, University Housing, and all other University clients. Duties include server and application configuration, administration, monitoring, and maintenance. Responsibilities will also involve troubleshooting and coordinating the repair of field devices and infrastructure with UGA staff and/or contractors. Individual will be responsible for supporting campus constituents with the purchase and installation of new Video Security Systems and help maintain these systems throughout the product life cycle. This position will also provide assistance with the management of physical access control systems as available and needed.

- Knowledge of Windows Server and Windows applications.
- Understand and troubleshoot networking related issues from physical to application layer.
- Ability to respond to events across campus during and after normal work hours.
- Can transport and troubleshoot equipment and assist users on-site.
- Knowledge of security systems including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.

Coordinate with EITS, FMD, UGA PD, University Housing and other UGA staff along with outside contractors as appropriate to troubleshoot and repair issues with campus standard video security cameras and infrastructure.

Participate in periodic review and update of UGA campus standards for Access Control, Video Security Systems, and other hardware, software, and user administration. Communicate revisions to UGA stakeholders.
