Oversees the administration and coordination of all aspects of the TRIUMPH (Triton Undergraduate Men Pursuing Higher Education) and SURGE (Sisterhood of Undergraduates Representing Great Excellence) programs. Manages and oversees grants related to these programs.


1. Directs and manages all aspects of the TRIUMPH and SURGE programs.

2. Plan the delivery of program activities and manage the overall expansion effort for the TRIUMPH/SURGE programs.

3. Serve as the liaison and point of contact for the community college partners engaged in the TRIUMPH expansion initiative.

4. Develop and maintain database for educational and community partnerships.

5. Coordinates and supervises student services mentoring initiatives including recruitment of mentors.

6. Develops educational programming to create and sustain engaged learning in collaboration with academic and student affairs units of the college.

7. Maintains budgets and comprehensive records of all services, including various special initiatives and grant projects.

8. Prepare reports and provide regular updates on all activities.

9. Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.

10. Assists in the development of grants and provide support to the Grants Development Office.

11. Maintains communication with all areas of the College, to promote student success.

12. Serves on various institutional committees as assigned.

13. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.




Student Success Advisors  



Master's degree required.


Three-five years of experience in leading and managing student support/success programs in community colleges or universities.


Demonstrates knowledge of academic and student services, including knowledge of special populations and/or issues related to the program area.


Demonstrates skills in communication, program management, organizational, and computer. Ability to work within a team environment.
