Job Summary

Complex data analysis and presentation of key metrics related to benchmarks which support program integrity and student success in multi-institutional program. Will inform and work as strong and highly engaged team participant in initiatives to increase student success and ensure program quality.

Responsibilities

Data Analytics - 40%

Identify and execute appropriate methods to provide in-depth understanding of student performance, team engagement, and other metrics to evolve departmental strategy and inform tactical execution and measurement. These methods will include complex queries, predictive and descriptive modeling and data mining. Assists in coordination and production of annual Factbook, web content management, and reporting real-time and KPI metrics in appropriate areas. Will participate in system and departmental initiatives and research designed to increase student success and learning outcomes. Will present findings, as needed, in the form of webinars, conference presentations and articles

Student Engagement - 35%

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Engagement & Analytics, will develop and maintain a robust student intervention model to provide assistance and outreach to at-risk students in solving success related challenges.

Will serve as one of the lead members of the Student Success Team, coordinating solutions between students, faculty and related staff, acting as a resource and liaison to team members regarding considerations in unique and difficult cases, as well as providing direct support to students in an assigned area.

Evaluate success team outreach efforts - 15%

Evaluate success team outreach efforts through documented formal and informal observations, working collaboratively with leaders and staff to implement benchmarks and related assessments.

Other - 10%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with digital and visual tools, such as Excel or Tableau and CRMs.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Prefer that the related experience be in higher education
  • Demonstrated expertise leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau to manipulate, analyze, and present data. Previous experience with Qualtrics, survey methods and survey analysis.
Proposed Salary

$50,540 - $55,208

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Demonstrated organization skills and ability to engage successfully with students.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to analyze, quantify, and present data effectively.
  • Superior written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and persuasion.
