Job Summary

TRiO FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENT

Under the general supervision of the SSS Director, student workers will assist the staff of the SSS office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining cleanliness of Computer Lab photocopying, filing, entering data, answering telephone calls, assisting TRO SSS participants with basic questions, delivering, picking up and distributing mail, and making campus deliveries.

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Enrolled at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.Awarded Work-Study through Financial Aid.Must maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.Advanced writing and verbal communications skills.Proactive approach to work and conflict resolution.Attentive to details.Able to work independently and/or as a team member.Skilled in using good judgement, and exercising discretion.Professional demeanor, self-motivated and flexible.Dependable, punctual, with good phone etiquette.

Proposed Salary

$10.00 Hourly

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

REQUIRED (OR PREFERRED) SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.Working knowledge of basic office equipment and machines.Ability to communicate and work with diverse populations.Must be willing to sign a statement of conduct and a statement of confidentiality.
