Description:

The Division of Marketing & Supply Chain Management (MSCM) in the Price College of Business (PCB), University of Oklahoma (OU), continues to be in an ambitious, multi-year period of growth and expansion. In support of this expansion, applicants with an earned degree in supply chain management or a closely related field are invited to apply for a tenure track position in supply chain management at the assistant or associate professor rank.  Doctoral candidates are also encouraged to apply if they are likely to complete their doctoral degrees by August 2024. This position will start in August 2024.

Our Supply Chain Management (SCM) group continues to focus on all facets of supply chain research utilizing empirical, analytical, and conceptual techniques. The MSCM Division houses undergraduate programs in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Healthcare Business, supports many of PCB's graduate programs, and has just launched an exciting new online MS in Supply Chain Management. Gartner recently ranked the division's undergraduate program in SCM as a Top 20 undergraduate program.

In addition to conducting high-quality research, successful candidates will be expected to teach in our undergraduate/graduate courses and our recently launched online master's in supply chain management program. Primary teaching responsibilities include supply chain topics across all levels of our academic programs. The expected teaching load for Assistant Professors is three courses per academic year and four for Associate Professors, with a one-course teaching release for very good research productivity.

The Price College of Business (PCB) at OU continues to flourish. The Price College of Business is AACSB-accredited, with approximately 5,500 undergraduate, 820 master’s, and 42 doctoral students. Its undergraduate program is ranked 64th by U.S. News and World Report, and its full-time and professional MBA programs are ranked 86th and 89th, respectively.

OU is a Carnegie-R1 comprehensive public research university known for excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement, serving the educational, cultural, economic, and healthcare needs of the state, region, and nation from three campuses: Norman, Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, and the Schusterman Center in Tulsa.
