Department The Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate, and Legal Studies houses nationally acclaimed faculty and programs in both risk management/insurance and real estate and is home to the Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance. The Real Estate program and faculty are nationally ranked and are supported by an active Real Estate Center and an engaged alumni network.

Position:

The FSU College of Business is seeking to fill one tenure-track position in real estate at the assistant professor rank beginning in August 2023. The desired primary teaching specialties are real estate valuation, real estate finance, and real estate investment, but other areas will be considered. The ideal candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, both face-to-face and online.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. with a specialization in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent, from an AACSB-accredited program. Tenure-track status requires a degree in hand by August 2023. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to research and teaching excellence.
