The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in finance beginning August 2023 (January 2023 start is possible based on successful candidate’s availability).

The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching and service. The teaching load is five courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the individual will also be responsible for mentoring undergraduate students, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and engaging in other service activities within the department, college, campus, community, and profession.
The ideal candidate will have at minimum a master’s degree in finance or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited or regionally accredited institution. Candidates should have the expertise and experience, significant in duration and responsibility, qualifying them to teach courses in the areas of estate planning, risk management, and/or real estate. Relevant professional experience must be current at the time of hire and the successful candidate will be required to maintain their professional qualification. Candidates holding certifications in certified financial planning are preferred. Applicants must have abilities, skills and enthusiasm consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation.
