In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's doctors are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Generalist. Candidates should have an interest in medical student and resident teaching, developing an active clinical practice, and other research and academic activities. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and candidate background.

This position will be 65% clinical/clinical teaching,10% department administration/Division Director, and 25% system administration/Medical Director of Labor and Delivery.

Essential Functions

Candidates should have an interest in:

  • Medical student and resident teaching.
  • Developing an active clinical practice.
  • Research and academic activities.
  • Holding a Division Director title in the Generalist division and a Medical Directorship in Labor and Delivery.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical and surgical practices.
  • Teaching of residents and fellows.
  • Holding a Division Director and Medical Director title in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology..
Minimum Requirements
  • MD with completion of a board-certified residency program and formal Fellowship training in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Candidates must be eligible for a medical license in the State of Ohio.
  • Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
