Typical Schedule: This is a full-time faculty position to begin July 2023.
Purpose: The Assistant/Associate Professor of Business is a full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Social Sciences with the rank of assistant or associate commensurate with prior teaching and professional experience. The person who fills this position will play a significant role in shaping the future of the business program at the College.
Essential Job Duties:
- Focus, develop, and direct a collegiate program in Business. Put the program on track toward external validation or accreditation. Teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate coursework per semester. Assist students in seeing the relevance of the Catholic intellectual tradition and Catholic Social Teaching to their business pursuits and to guide students in conversations about these topics. Participate in the life of the College with service and other responsibilities to meet the needs of the Department and College.
Minimum Education, Skills, and Ability:
- We are looking for an effective leader to develop a distinctive program in Business. Ph.D. (preferred), or master’s with significant business experience. The candidate should be able to work effectively with a diverse student population.
