Run the WEMBA Aux Program, read apps, recruit, interview

Reporting to the Director of Admissions within the Wharton Executive MBA Admissions Office. This role has dual functionality and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Wharton MBA for Executives Auxiliary Reading Program and be part of overall Wharton MBA for Executives admissions team.

Managing the WEMBA Auxiliary reader program includes of all aspects of the program including sourcing candidates for hire to pass along to the Directors of Admission for interview. This role will also be held responsible for developing content, organizing and then delivering all intensive appropriate training programs. Once hiring and training is complete, this role will be required to provide developmental feedback to a cadre of application readers as they take on the yearly task of reading all Wharton MBA for Executives applications.

In addition to managing a group of MBA application readers. This role will be responsible for evaluating applications to the Wharton MBA Program for Executive. The role will also act as an auxiliary Wharton MBA Program for Executives recruiter, admission advisor and interviewer.

This role will be asked to fully handle the day to day management and HR needs of the temporary employees in that program. In order to effectively run this program to have deep knowledge of the Executive MBA admissions industry and follow macro academic trends in evaluation and selection.

An admissions advisor with the Wharton MBA for Executives is expected to be well versed in every aspect of both the Wharton Executive MBA program and the Wharton Executive MBA Admissions process. Questions and advising typically range from deep cultural aspects of the Wharton program to specific advice in crafting strong applications to Wharton. They will be required to use that knowledge in order to help recruit students to apply to the program.
