The Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (CU AMC) has an opening for a full-time Academic Services Senior Professional position.

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Manager (RM) is responsible for serving as the administrative leader in operationalizing and advancing the school's outreach and recruitment efforts and strategies for the Entry-Level PharmD degree program. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the RM collaborates closely with the school's Marketing and Communications Office, Admissions team, Office of Student Services (OSS) admissions staff, Assistant/Associate Dean for Student Affairs (ADSA) and other stakeholders as necessary.

Examples of Work Performed:
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies, activities and operations in collaboration with the Outreach Specialist, Admissions team, and the Marketing and Communications Office (Marcom) office to optimize quality and quantity of applicants to the Entry-Level PharmD with a primary focus on CO, CA, and other high-prospect regions.
  • Develops relationships and programs with key stakeholders (e.g., advisors, career counselors, etc.), and forms partnerships with undergraduate and other high potential institutions to create pipelines to pharmacy school.
  • Develops comprehensive in-person and on-line advising processes in conjunction with the admissions team and implements plans for ongoing communication and data transfer for prospective students.
  • Leverages customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce) to document and track contacts with prospective students and key stakeholders.
  • Establish procedures to personalize the applicant experience from prospect to application phase.
  • Manages data collection, reporting and assessment of recruitment-related initiatives.
  • Reviews policies and procedures related to recruitment and makes changes and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Plans, implements, and executes recruiting events that occur on the Anschutz Medical Campus, other colleges/universities, high schools, and other regional, state, and national venues.

Salary and Benefits:
  • The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $58,442 - $74,338
  • The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
  • The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
  • This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • At least three (3) years of higher education student recruiting experience.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • A graduate degree in business, pharmacy, or related field
    • Experience recruiting for health professions and/or pharmacy students;
    • Managerial and/or other leadership experience in recruiting.
    • Experience with database analysis and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

    • Knowledge of higher education recruitment, admissions, and administration
    • Professional level written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly effective interpersonal and supervisory skills
    • Highly adept project management skills
    • Exemplary analytical, reasoning, problem solving and decision-making abilities

    • Strong computer skills in database maintenance and manipulation, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
