    The Admission Data Specialist is a member of the Operations Team charged with processing data, creating reports, and analyzing Admissions data.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Operations Team Director, Director of Recruitment Marketing, and Directors of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions in the creation, preparation, and execution of the physical and email-based enrollment communication flows.
    • Load ACT data files into Laserfiche software and process them into the Jenzabar system. Communicate with the IT department regarding any issues or errors.
    • Work as primary liaison with mailing houses to provide data for Recruitment Marketing mailings. Work with Application Processing Specialist II to process address updates, duplicate records, and errors sent to us from mailing houses.
    • Assume primary responsibility, with the assistance of the Admissions Application Processing Specialist II, for extraction of Jenzabar data via Infomaker to e-blast Admissions messaging via Constant Contact to specific target populations.
    • Using Constant Contact maintain unsubscribe lists and bounce email lists. Export data and update Jenzabar.
    • Using Mongoose and Laserfiche import processes to migrate text information from Mongoose into Jenzabar.
    • Create reports for internal constituencies who require enrollment-related information for the development of grant proposals, presentations, and other reporting.
    • Process US Postal mail received to Admissions. Route where necessary.
    • Lead physical inventory organization and monthly counts with assistance from Admissions Application Processing Specialist II. Track counts in the master inventory file.
    • Participate in the Operations team weekly rotational support of the Operations Team email account.
    • Participate in Operations Team meetings.
    • Serve as a member of various Jenzabar user groups.
    • Participate with Application Processing Specialist II in student worker meetings with Operations Team Director.
    • Team with Application Processing Specialist II in processing all admissions applications, Student Clearinghouse prior organization attended verifications and supporting documents (i.e. transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters).
    • Team with Application Processing Specialist II in coordinating the preparation, processing, and execution of daily letter and email generation and the mailing of packets using student employees for assembly.
    • Support the Application Processing Specialist II with downloading and merging of inquiry data files into MS Word for manual data entry.
    • Process various Laserfiche forms - admission decisions - course Placements, Grace/Caroline scholarship applications, matching process to prospect database.
    • Team with the Application Processing Specialist II to supervise Operations Team student workers.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Experience with student information systems and/or recruitment/relationship management software preferred
    • Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize projects
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups, facilitate group processes, and foster collaborative decision making
