Position Summary
Primary responsibilities will include teaching GBA Professional Development sequence courses, professional coaching and mentoring on LEAD professional competencies, and conducting individual professional mentoring sessions, and ongoing activities related to the LEAD program.

Detailed Position Information
This position is housed within the Office of Undergraduate Programs in the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama, to serve the UA Business LEAD professional development program required of all Culverhouse undergraduates. Broadly speaking the role entails four aspects, namely, (a) teaching our required GBA Professional Development (PD) sequence courses which are 1-credit hour courses that focus on the UA Business LEAD competencies for Freshmen (GBA 146), Sophomores (GBA 246) and Juniors (GBA 346), (b) professional coaching and mentoring on LEAD professional competencies which involves developing, delivering, and assessing group coaching programs that occur throughout the academic year, (c) conducting individual professional mentoring sessions with students on an ongoing basis, and (d) associated with the summer stipend, ongoing activities related to the LEAD program to include ongoing corporate relationship development, program assessment/revision/reporting, new program development, and other LEAD activities (e.g., internship coordination, PD course instructor training) as needed.

The position appointment will begin 1/01/2023.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in business or related field with at least 5 years of corporate or organizational experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in business or related field and 10 years of corporate or organizational experience with at least some of that time being in a leadership and/or leadership/professional training role is highly desirable.
