In post-production, this position is responsible for editing assembly of footage, editing sound, designing graphics, selecting and editing music soundtrack and outputting primarily to the web (sometimes to DVD and mastering to broadcast standards). In times of crisis this position works as part of a team to develop critical video productions and streaming.Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Manages projects from conception to full execution efficiently and effectively and is able to communicate plans and results to upper level management.
  • Assists with planning and implementation of community education and special event initiatives.
  • Serves as client services representative to internal constituents
  • Ensure proper usage and implementation of brand standards and acts as a brand manager for enterprise
  • Works collaboratively and appropriately communicates with superiors and staff. Maintains departmental service
  • Oversees creative and strategic deliverables for video production
  • The direct liaison for implementing marketing objectives, developing new programs, and analyzing performance outcomes.
  • Mentors students and creates pipelines for learning.
  • Assist with student development and training
  • Assists with production of large scale events and assists with communications especially with MCG.
  • Manages and nurtures vendor relations to achieve timely, cost-effect outcomes.
  • Coordinates planning, development and implementation of video and live productions in coordination with the Multimedia Director.
  • Coordinates productions as they relate to assigned colleges, departments, service lines, and programs
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Management or related field with five years of experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong technical background in video production, equipment maintenance and interfaces is required.
  • Ability to work in collaborative, creative and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of computer software systems including databases, operating systems, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a variety of audiences.
