Description:

A postdoctoral research position is available to study vascular permeability signaling in sepsis.  Studies include understanding how endothelial cells respond to shear stress. The postdoctoral fellow will primarily work remotely to interpret data, write manuscripts and prepare publishable figures. The postdoctoral fellow will also conduct independent experiments if needed, which includes experimental design, data collection and interpretation, manuscript preparation.


Qualifications:

Successful candidates should  have a PhD or equivalent degree and research experience in the areas of fluid shear stress, endothelial signaling and permeability, sepsis, vascular organoids and basic molecular biology techniques.
