Reporting to the Director of Fan Engagement and Ticketing, the Ticket Sales position is a member of the Athletic Department’s fan engagement and strategic partnerships team. This position is responsible for generating revenue through ticket sales and promotions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

Sponsorship Sales and Tickets

· Develop and implement comprehensive ticketing sales, service, and retention strategies including outreach initiatives to drive revenue and attendance.

· Responsible for the execution of ticket sales efforts for season sales, premium area sales, group ticket sales, and single game ticket sales.

· Collaborate with on-campus partners to sell tickets to numerous audiences.

· Work with off campus partners, including community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and youth organizations, to drive attendance and revenue by selling tickets and promotions.

· Assist with the coordination of special ticket promotional events.

· Assist in aspects of ticket operations.
 

Other

· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

· Comply with policies and procedures set forth by Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.

· Responsible for knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. If found responsible for a violation of NCAA regulations, will be subject to disciplinary or corrective action, including termination if appropriate. Also, may be responsible for any act or omission that may give rise to a finding that the University has violated an NCAA regulation.

Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.

This position requires working nights, weekends and occasionally holidays to attend appropriate athletic events.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

· Revenue generation experience, preferably in college athletics.

· Experience in sales, marketing and/or ticket sales.
