Men’s Club Volleyball Coach, Temporary

Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the position of Temporary, Men’s Club Volleyball Coach.This position will develop and oversee practices for a competitive collegiate club team. This position will require the candidate to work to develop team leadership, be the liaison between the club and recreation staff, and develop and maintain good standing with the league. The head coach is accountable to the officers of the CCU men’s volleyball club and to the adherence of the club university guidelines outlined by the CCU Student Organization Manual and the Department of University Recreation.Duties include, but are not limited to:· Overseeing player development and planning· Conducting practices· Establishing a team roster· Productively managing games· Representing team interests at reginal and national conference meetings · Supervising team during travel· Providing guidance to the team’s student leadershipQualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. A successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of volleyball and previous coaching experience at the collegiate or club level.Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, minutes from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach. Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Extensive knowledge of volleyball. Previous coaching experience at the collegiate or club level.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Commitment to attend all/most scheduled practices and games. Must be able to travel to away tournaments.
