Description:Reporting to the Chair of the Fine Arts, Design, and Art History department, the Part-Time Ceramics Lab Coordinator supports the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (HCLAS).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working with department administrators, faculty, and student aids in all aspects of maintaining the ceramics facilities.
• Keep the studio neat, orderly, and safe.
• Train and supervise all student aides, set up their schedules and track and verify their hours.
• Order all supplies.
• Firing of kilns and small kiln repair is a must.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
