The Gynecologic Oncology Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the University Medical Line (UML). The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the UML is excellence in the overall mix of scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional service—appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Candidates should have received an MD degree, be board certified in gynecologic oncology, and have demonstrated the ability to lead a program in clinical trials/translational research in the field of gynecologic oncology. Candidates should have a national reputation as an accomplished researcher in clinical trials, demonstrate an ongoing clinical/ translational research program, and extensive participation in cooperative group clinical trials. The successful candidate will conduct research in collaboration with faculty in the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center, the Stanford Cancer Institute, and in other Stanford oncology divisions.

In addition to serving as clinical trials/translational research director, the successful candidate will deliver patient care. The successful applicant will participate in teaching and research mentorship for medical students, residents, and fellows in an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
