Responsibilities

Responsible for management and implementation of BH IMPACT, to include the Center for Behavioral Health Integration (CBHI), program goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and staffing. Responsible for managing administrative, financial, and/or compliance activities, and report directly to the Center Director. Develop, coordinate and implement program activities in conjunction with external partners and agencies, and assure compliance with state and federal agency requirements and deliverables. Serve as a subject matter expert in behavioral health, with an emphasis on women’s and/or children’s behavioral health.

Provide oversight of budget, fiscal and administrative compliance, marketing, and reporting activities. Assist in hiring and training staff and coordinating all aspects of the contracted services for the CBHI program.

Manage current and ongoing projects and items for the Director to meet upcoming deadlines. Responsible for overseeing meeting arrangements, preparation of meeting materials and presentations, correspondence and reports and other related duties assuring logistics and necessary follow-up. Serves as liaison with leads of community partners including state agencies, health care clinics, and non-profit organizations.

Assist Center Director in overseeing development and implementation of administrative procedures for managing and utilizing grant resources and monitoring project progress and completion, interfaces with Sponsored Research Office, COM Pre- Award office, COM post-Award office, coordination of grant activities among institutions and sub- contractors, etc., and managing the CBHI Contracts and Grants Database.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at an equivalent rate.)

  • Experience in demonstrating effective customer service skills.
  • Experience in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experience in evaluating process effectiveness and developing changes or alternatives.
  • Experience in gathering, interpreting, reporting, and/or editing information.
  • Experience in meeting project deadlines.
  • Experience in performing accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Experience in prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience in compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Experience in training and supervising employees.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate records and retrieving files from actives or archive sources. Basic filing practices to include numeric and alphabetic systems.
  • Experience in writing and/or proofreading and editing written word and/or information in various formats.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent software.
  • Valid Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain prior to hire
Preferred
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of event planning and ability to coordinate, organize and evaluate meetings and/or events.
  • Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
  • Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and etiquette.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies.
