Position Title:Assistant Professor of Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry)

Duties and Responsibilities :Provides instruction for undergraduate courses in Inorganic Chemistry at both the general and advanced levels. Contributes to scholarly activities that lead to publications in quality peer-reviewed journals. Serves the department and university through academic advising of students, participation in committees, and establishing a productive undergraduate research program. The position is a full-time tenure track position.
Experience:Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate students. Experience in obtaining grant funding. Application of technology in classroom/pedagogy. Ability to develop a research program with underrepresented minorities. Strong candidates will be collegial and possess excellent leadership skills.
Education:Ph.D. in Chemistry is required; specialization in Inorganic Chemistry preferred. Postdoctoral experience preferred. Record of peer-reviewed publication preferred.
