Duties and Responsibilities :

Includes, but are not limited to, teaching across multiple areas with a focus on infant nursing and women’s health, or neonatal pediatric nursing at the undergraduate level; active scholarship and grantsmanship/fundraising; service at the program, department and university levels; curriculum instruction and program development; student advising, and collaboration with colleagues. Continuing professional development in scholarship, teaching, community service, maintenance of clinical expertise, and knowledge of the profession are highly valued on our campus.

Experience:

Ideal candidate will have a PhD in nursing or a related field; current certification in nursing, clinical expertise in the maternal-infant and women’s health nursing; teaching experience in baccalaureate and higher degree nursing programs; total program evaluation; and NLN and/or AACN accreditation experience. Must hold current license to practice nursing in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Education:

(Doctorate in nursing (Ph. D, Ed. D, DNS c)
Current certification in nursing, clinical expertise, teaching experience in baccalaureate and higher degree programs, total program evaluation, and NLNAC and/or CCNE accreditation experience required. Must hold a current license to practice nursing in Maryland and preferably Washington, DC.
