The School of Business has had increasing enrollments and significant external funding success and will be occupying a newly constructed facility in September 2023. Position Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels;
  • Scholarship commensurate with rank;
  • Service across various stakeholder communities;
  • Oversight of Experiential Education initiatives; including collaborative activities across global/international schools (i.e.; diversity and equity projects and challenges), and
  • International corporate development, including corporate/faculty/student immersion experiences (i.e.; diversity activities, small group consulting experiences, case study development and execution) and community engagement.
Qualifications

The Department of Management/International Business is seeking a qualified faculty member to fill a full time, tenure track opening to begin in January 2023.

Required Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate in management;
  • Minimum eight years of full-time teaching experience in higher education;
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in:
    • The development, delivery and maintenance of impactful Experiential Education initiatives;
    • Significant corporate development and industry engagement;
    • Collaboration with multinational firms or those based outside the United States;
    • Supporting Corporate Social Responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Industrial Engineering or Quantitative Methods;
  • Minimum two years of full-time teaching at an American University outside of the United States;
  • Fundraising achievements; and
  • Experience with grant seeking and proposal writing.
