Office of Accreditation and Assessment
Reporting to the Director of Accreditation and Assessment, the Accreditation Coordinator (Professional Services Specialist 3) coordinates the implementation of the University's institutional and specialized accreditation processes. The Accreditation Coordinator works closely with faculty, staff and administrators to coordinate activities related to securing and maintaining accreditation, as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state and other guidelines. This position assists in supporting all of the University’s assessment processes for continuous improvement and innovation. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in institutional and/or specialized accreditation activities within a higher education setting is required. Candidate must be proficient in research design, methods, statistics, qualitative analysis, technology in assessment and tests/measurements; have strong organizational skills; and excellent written and public presentation skills. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required. Experience with institutional accreditation, specifically Middle States Commission on Higher Education and specialized accreditation in the disciplines offered at Kean is a plus.
