Primary Purpose of the Position:Minimum Education And Experience Requirements::
This is analytical work in providing consultation, support and /or training for the business, research, and academic/instructional functions of customers. Employees may provide support for academic/instructional initiatives, hardware, applications, operating systems, and networking. This function requires a broad understanding of a variety of technologies to effectively support customers. These employees are not usually involved in application development or network design; but may participate in system integration, instructional media support and network analysis activities. This work requires particularly strong communication skills, an ability to interact effectively with a broad range of customers and an ability to use a variety of technical resources for providing this support. Employees at this level may provide routine and non-routine support for a broad range of technologies or provide in-depth support for a more narrowly defined area of technology. These employees may be responsible for oversight of programs or projects. Works with cross technical teams to develop and implement solutions to technical issues as well as identify and implement tools to automate processes to increase productivity. Initiates and actively pursues activities or conducts research to enhance the work environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Programming, or related field with 3 or more years’ experience in programming, SDLC, Endpoint management software or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.Special Instructions To Applicants::
Experience with MS Windows based software is required.
