The Division of Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in the Medical Center Line (MCL). The successful candidate should be a trained clinical investigator with a demonstrated track record or the trajectory to secure research funding and a strong publication record. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the MCL shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service—appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified or eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology or related specialties.

The Breast Oncology group seeks a faculty member to establish new clinical and/or clinical/translational research collaborations and to conduct clinical or clinical/translational trials focused on breast malignancies. The candidate will teach fellows and other trainees and participate in the Oncology clinics and accompanying tumor board. The Division of Oncology benefits from an outstanding scientific and clinical environment at Stanford, including active collaborations with the basic science departments and the Stanford Institutes.
