Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Center for Electric Power (Part-time 75% position)

The Center for Electric Power seeks part-time Post-Doctoral Research Associate candidates to provide leadership, management and guidance to a research group or program that is part of a larger research project, an ongoing research study, or multiple smaller projects in the field of power system modeling, optimization, control, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

This includes developing research designs, construct data collection methods, and deploy various strategies for successful data management and data sharing; performing various research techniques to achieve results on various research projects; synthesizing research results into reports to sponsor. Lead contributions in order to publish to research; and mentoring and teaching students as well as collaborating with other researchers, and faculty, regarding lab procedures and experiments, design and planning of experiments, tests, and laboratory sequences by providing expert research subject matter expertise.



Qualifications
Qualifications:

Candidate should have Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field with a strong publication record in power system modeling and analysis with power grid cybersecurity  and proven capability in conducting cutting-edge research works.
