The College of Applied Health Sciences in the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking highly qualified applicants for a part-time (50% FTE) Research Assistant Professor position is a non-tenure track appointment. 

We are seeking an energetic and amicable individual who wants to teach students in statistics and research methodology and is also able to engage and support faculty and students in their research activities including grant applications, manuscript and abstract submission, and data analysis.  Job duties will include teaching one graduate level statistics course per semester and providing statistical consultation through the AHS Office of Research. Familiarity with SAS and SPSS is essential.

A Master’s or PhD degree in Applied Statistics or related field and 3-5 years of relevant teaching and research experience are required.  Successful experience in grant application support is preferred.
